I have professional qualifications as a certified translator, proof-reader and conference interpreter, as well as a master’s in English Literature and Linguistics. I did this work for almost ten years before changing careers to work in the heritage sector, first within the Royal Household and later in Parliament.
My role has many facets such as ensuring information on department projects and initiatives is shared proactively, and improving processes and communications from and between various boards and groups. I also support colleagues working on change, engagement and culture.
One of the more challenging aspects of working here has been understanding parliamentary procedures and processes. However, it also means that I get to learn something new every day, which I find incredibly inspiring. What I enjoy most is the opportunity to build collaborative and effective professional relationships with people inside and outside our organisation. I’ve had the pleasure of working with some truly lovely people in my time here.
