The Crime and Policing Bill 2024-25 is scheduled to have its report stage in the House of Commons on 17 and 18 June 2025.
There will be a Westminster Hall debate on police presence on high streets on 5 June 2025. The debate will be opened by Paulette Hamilton MP.
The government has committed to halving violence against women and girls (VAWG) within a decade. Some have questioned the effectiveness of past VAWG strategies.
