Sir William Cash will introduce a Westminster Hall debate about the future of the London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) in Westminster Hall on 21 February from 4.30pm to 5.30pm.
This is in the context of uncertainty around the City of London post – Brexit and, more immediately, the ongoing proposed merger between the LSEG and Deutsche Borse. The merger has been approved by the shareholders of both organisations and, currently, the main obstacle to this merger appears to be EU competition authority approval.
