General debate on Sport in the UK will take place on Monday 4 February 2019.

Sport England is responsible for encouraging sporting activity in England. Its strategy was updated in May 2016 to take account of the Government’s “Sporting future”. Detailed information on Sport England’s work and funding is available online. This includes the Active Lives Surveys.
