Elections will be held on 2 May 2013 in 27 county councils and 8 unitary authorities in England and in one Welsh unitary council. Two mayoral elections will also take place. In 2014 London boroughs and metropolitan districts will have elections. The note also summarises all national and local elections due to take place between 2013 and 2019.
