The Bill changes the law relating to the scope for prosecution of dissolved partnerships. Following a fire at the Rosepark nursing home in Lanarkshire. The dissolution of the partnership that ran the nursing home meant that nobody could be prosecuted under health and safety legislation in Scotland, because of a legal technicality. This Bill remedies this situation.
