Police Grant and Local Government Finance Reports 2023/4
A debate on the Motion to approve the Police Grant Report (England and Wales) 2023/24 will take place on Wednesday 8 February 2023.

This note, prepared for the parliamentary debate on 15 July 2013, looks briefly at the current situation regarding the UK's 2014 decision on justice and home affairs measures and lists the 35 measures the Government would like to opt back into.

The Government has said it intends to exercise its EU Treaty option of opting out of all police and criminal justice measures and Schengen measures that remain unamended since the Lisbon Treaty came into force in December 2009. It will later opt back into some of these measures selectively.
