Budget 2014: a summary

The 2014 Budget was presented by the Chancellor of the Exchequer to Parliament on 19 March 2014. At the same time the Office for Budget Responsibility published its updated forecasts in its Economic and Fiscal Outlook.

This note provides an overview of both along with analysis of the forecasts, changes to pensions and savings, the welfare cap and the treatment of disputed tax.
