The independence referendum in Scotland has raised interest in aspects of devolution and the pace of change throughout the UK. In Wales there are already significant changes in progress and others being planned.
This note traces proposals for further devolution, including a change to a reserved powers model, which has been agreed, following the second report of the Silk Commission. A commitment was announced by the UK Government in November 2014, with a timetable for initial consultations running through to March 2015.
