This dashboard is based on 2011 Census data that classify usual residents aged 16 to 74 in England and Wales by their main method of travel to work. It shows the number and proportion of those in employment by means of transport used for travel to work.

Data updates

This dashboard uses 2011 Census data. Updates won’t be possible until data from the 2021 Census is released.
